On June 29, another 4 generators arrived in Vinnytsia from German partners. This is the second shipment within the framework of the 5th tranche of humanitarian aid from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, the German Embassy in Kyiv, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morgunov shared this information on his Telegram channel and on Facebook.
"One of them has a capacity of 60 kW, one is 100 kW, and two are 300 kW. They will be directed to critical infrastructure facilities," wrote Serhiy Morgunov.
He added that Vinnytsia is actively preparing for the upcoming autumn-winter period and heating season, and the received generators will be useful in case of emergency situations and possible blackouts due to terrorist shelling.
The mayor also expressed his gratitude to the German partners for their support during these challenging times.
"Thanks for the assistance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, the German Embassy in Kyiv, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ)," the message said.
It's worth noting that as part of the 5th tranche of humanitarian aid from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, the German Embassy in Kyiv, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Vinnytsia has received a total of 13 generators with various capacities: 2 with 300 kW, 3 with 150 kW, 3 with 100 kW, and 5 with 60 kW.
