On July 5, international partners of Ukraine visited the Odessa region. This delegation included the Ministers of Agriculture from Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Moldova. They were welcomed by Oleg Kiper, the Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, and together they visited one of the ports in the Odessa region.
The authorities of the Odessa region emphasize that almost one and a half years of war have shown that without Ukrainian farmers and our agricultural exports under the "Grain from Ukraine" program initiated by the President of Ukraine, it is impossible to guarantee not only food security but also social security for dozens of countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe.
The Head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration reported, "As of today, 1001 vessels have departed from Ukrainian ports located in the Odessa region, carrying 32.13 million tons of agricultural products."
The Chief of the Odessa Regional Military Administration also mentioned that due to the actual sabotage by the Russian Federation of the grain deal, an alternative export plan must be determined. This was the subject of discussion between international partners and the head of the Odessa region.
