Two representatives of Poltava region returned with bronze medals from the World Bowling Championships

In Munich, Germany, from August 1st to August 12th, the World Bowling Championship for athletes with hearing impairments took place. Representatives from Poltava, Yana Prychina, and Kateryna Kovalchuk, as part of the Ukrainian national team, secured the "bronze" in the team standings. This information was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

Kateryna Kovalchuk also won a bronze medal in the "masters" category.

Congratulations to the athletes and their coach Georgiy Yalovyi on their honorary awards.

Earlier, we reported that for the first time in Poltava, competitions in shot put were held among boys and girls.

We also mentioned that rescue workers from Odessa won the bronze medal at the Ukrainian Fire and Applied Sports Championship.

Additionally, hockey players from Vinnytsia region won the "silver" at the European Championship and will now compete in the qualification for the Olympic Games.
