Hockey players from the Vinnytsia region win silver medal at the European Championships and qualify for the Olympics

The Ukrainian men's field hockey team had a successful performance at the European Championship, earning "silver" medals. Now, our team, including hockey players from Vinnytsia, will participate in the Olympic qualifiers. This announcement was made by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Sergiy Borzov, on his Facebook page.

This marks the second time in history that the Ukrainian men's field hockey team has secured a spot in the Olympic qualifiers. The upcoming matches will take place in Pakistan and Spain. Eight teams from Europe will participate in the Olympic qualifiers.

Earlier, it was reported that athletes from Kropyvnytskyi, as part of the Ukrainian national team, won "bronze" at the Olympic Festival held in Maribor, Slovenia.

Meanwhile, athletes from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast also achieved notable success at the same Olympic Festival, winning five medals.

Previously, nearly 800 children from Cherkasy Oblast had the opportunity to recuperate in the Carpathian Mountains.

In addition, young billiards players from Kropyvnytskyi brought home "silver" and "bronze" medals from the Ukrainian Championship.
