An 82-year-old woman was injured by enemy shelling in Nikopol

Today, during the day, the Russian army shelled Nikopol and the Marganets community. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, preliminary data indicates that the communities were shelled three times with heavy artillery. An 82-year-old woman was injured, and her condition is currently satisfactory. Additionally, 3 private houses, 2 outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged.

It should be noted that this morning, aggressor forces shelled the Marganets community in Nikopol region. There were no casualties reported, and all information is being clarified.

Furthermore, during the night of August 19, during an air alert over Cherkasy region, air defense forces shot down two enemy drones. There were no casualties or damage reported.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, last night, the Russian Federation launched another aerial attack on Ukraine using Iranian combat drones "Shahed-136/131." Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has carried out 3 missile strikes, 41 airstrikes, and 74 artillery shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged. The likelihood of missile and aerial attacks across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
