Forty children from Dnipropetrovs'k region went on vacation to Hungary

Another forty boys and girls from Dnipropetrovsk region will rest and recuperate abroad, this time in Hungary. Children of military personnel, large families, and internally displaced persons from war-affected regions are among those who traveled to Hungary. This trip was organized with the assistance of Viktor Mykyta, the head of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration.

The children in Hungary will have a packed schedule and the opportunity to visit historical sites. This initiative aims to provide them with positive and memorable experiences that contrast with the challenges and hardships they may have faced due to the war.

Previously, forty children from Dnipropetrovsk region went to Austria, and the same number traveled to Italy for similar programs. These efforts aim to give the children moments of carefree childhood away from the effects of war.

Additionally, in Bukovel, the Carpathian Mountains, nearly eight hundred children from Cherkasy were provided with recreation and health improvement programs, funded by the city's budget. This initiative helped children from foster families and family-type children's homes who had lost their homes in Donetsk and Kherson regions. The recreational campaign lasted from May 16th to October 11th, with ten groups of children each staying for 14 days in the Carpathians.
