The number of casualties due to the rocket strike on Dnipro has increased to 10, as reported by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration. Earlier, there were reports of 7 wounded individuals. Lysak stated that three people are currently in the hospital, including a 55-year-old woman and two men aged 33 and 48, all in a moderately severe condition. He also shared photos of the transport object that was hit by a Russian missile.
During the night, several times, air raid alerts were declared in the southeastern regions of Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk region. Local authorities reported that Dnipro was hit by a missile. According to the head of the regional administration, the rocket strike in Dnipro caused injuries to people and damage to around ten objects, including a bank, gas station, hotel, agrofirm, furniture production facility, and administrative building, as well as two residential houses.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in its morning briefing, reported that Dnipro was hit by a missile. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is currently being clarified. Ukrainian military forces managed to intercept one of the missiles from the Eastern Air Command.
According to the spokesperson for the Air Force Command, Ukrainian air defense forces intercepted a missile in the sky over Dnipropetrovsk, which was part of an attack that originated from Crimea, Rostov Oblast, and the Tokmak region. These attacks included the firing of S-300 missiles from Tokmak, ballistic missiles "Iskander-M" from Rostov Oblast, and cruise missiles "Iskander-K" from Crimea, with one of them being successfully intercepted in the area of responsibility of the Eastern Air Command.
