In the city of Vinnytsia, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have exposed more than ten officials of the military medical commission and doctors who, for money, helped citizens illegally evade mobilization and travel abroad. This information is reported on the official Facebook page of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Thanks to comprehensive measures carried out by SSU and the National Police, the organizers of this large-scale operation were apprehended, including one official from a local medical-diagnostic center. He had engaged more than ten individuals, including officials from the regional military medical commission, in his criminal activities.

SSU investigators determined that the organizer of the scheme offered potential conscripts the opportunity to avoid mobilization and travel abroad for a fee. To achieve this, they fabricated fictitious documents indicating that the individuals were unfit for military service based on their health indicators. The amount charged for such "services" ranged from 3,000 to 10,000 US dollars, depending on the urgency of the situation and the diagnosis required.

SSU agents identified over 200 criminal episodes involving the organizer of the scheme and his accomplices. The official from the medical-diagnostic center was caught "red-handed" while receiving another payment for his services. Searches were conducted at his place of residence and in his vehicle, where authorities discovered money obtained through corrupt means, rough notes, documents, and computer equipment containing evidence of illegal activities.

The individual has been charged under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to "Illegal Transfer of Persons Across the State Border of Ukraine."

Those involved in organizing the scheme could face up to 10 years of imprisonment with property confiscation.

Previously, it was reported that SSU had dismantled seven other schemes targeting individuals seeking to evade their obligations.
