Vinnytsia region, as part of the All-Ukrainian "Shoulder to Shoulder" project, continues to assist Kherson region in rebuilding housing destroyed by the enemy. Vinnytsians have been restoring the homes of local residents in the village of Kalynivske for almost two months now. Currently, five teams from Vinnytsia region are working there. This week, they have been joined by nine workers with various construction specialties. This information was reported on the Facebook page of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

Workers from Vinnytsia region, in coordination with the local military administration, are restoring the first ten residential buildings where representatives of socially vulnerable populations reside. Workers are completing the installation of new roofs and finishing facade work on the buildings. Roof replacements are also ongoing for four more houses in the village.

"We are doing everything to ensure that the residents of Kalynivske return to their homes as soon as possible. We do not leave our own people in distress. I want to express my gratitude to the heads of district military administrations, territorial communities in Vinnytsia region, and everyone actively involved in the restoration of Kherson region," wrote Serhiy Borzov, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

As a reminder, we previously reported that in Dnipropetrovsk region, the first section of a newly constructed trunk water pipeline was launched. The length of this new section is 27 kilometers, and the construction work took 76 days to complete. Three more sections are planned to be laid next, as they are necessary to provide water not only to the city but also to the communities of the Kryvyi Rih district. Once all sections are ready, they will have the capacity to pump 400,000 cubic meters of water daily. This pipeline is part of a large-scale trunk water supply system designed to provide water to regions affected by the detonation of the Kakhovska HES dam by Russian occupiers. Among these regions are the communities of the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts in Dnipropetrovsk region.
