Man injured in Poltava region as a result of gasoline tank explosion

On August 22, at an enterprise in the village of Selechina in Poltava district, a gasoline tank exploded. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Poltava region. According to the National Police, a fire broke out during the dismantling of the tank on the company's premises, followed by an explosion. As a result, a 34-year-old worker sustained injuries and was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Poltava City Hospital with 65% burns of the body.

Law enforcement authorities have recorded information about this incident in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 272 (Violation of safety rules during work involving increased danger at an enterprise, if it resulted in serious consequences) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
