In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a photo contest for Ukrainian Vyshyvanka Day (Embroidered Shirt Day) is ongoing. Residents of the region can still participate in the contest until 7:00 PM today and tomorrow. The winners will be determined and the results announced on Monday, May 22. This information is provided on the website of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

To participate in the contest, participants need to take a photo of themselves wearing a vyshyvanka and post the picture on their Facebook page. The photo should be accompanied by the hashtag #Вишивана_Дніпропетровщина, and participants should tag the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration in their post. Participants can also provide information about the photo and those featured in it if they wish.

Many photos have already been submitted to the contest. Among the participants are families wearing hand-embroidered shirts. Some participants are wearing vyshyvankas that have been passed down through generations. One participant shared a vyshyvanka that she embroidered for her loved one. Photos can be published until 7:00 PM on Friday. The winner will be determined based on the highest number of likes on May 22.

Previously, we reported that the Acrobatics Championship of Ukraine has begun in Vinnytsia. This year, nine teams from eight regions of Ukraine and Kyiv will compete. A total of 126 participants have come to Vinnytsia, with 33 athletes representing the Vinnytsia region. The regional team includes silver medalists of the World Cup, winners of previous national championships and Ukrainian Cups, as well as participants in nationwide and international competitions and tournaments.

In Kropyvnytskyi, dogs are being trained to search for people under rubble.
