In Vinnytsia region, they invite psychologists, social and medical professionals, teachers, and community leaders for training. The training is conducted as part of the USAID project "Building a Resilient Public Health System." This project is being implemented in Ukraine as part of the initiative by the First Lady Olena Zelenska to establish a National Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program. One of the project's tasks is to expand access to mental health services at the community level.
To provide psychological mutual aid in communities, self-help, and achieve the project's goals, the world-renowned psychiatrist Dr. James Gordon, founder of the Center for Mind-Body Healing in Washington, D.C., came to Ukraine. Dr. Gordon conducted an introductory seminar and presented the "Healing of Body and Soul" program, which eases symptoms and supports post-traumatic recovery. In July of this year, the Center for Mind-Body Healing will conduct training for 150 psychologists, teachers, community leaders, social and medical workers, including those from Vinnytsia region.
Earlier, we reported that 20 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Spain to Cherkasy. The successful delivery of this cargo was made possible through donations from Ukrainians, including the collection of 50,000 hryvnias at a dance festival, as reported by the head of the regional branch of the Association of Contemporary and Popular Dance of Ukraine, Viktoria Sukhenko.
