In Dnipropetrovsk region, more than twenty leading scientists were honored with awards. The list includes doctoral students, heads and lecturers of higher education institutions, employees of research institutions, and their achievements in 2022 and 2023 were recognized. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

"The scientists of the region continue to work productively and effectively in their fields. They are people dedicated to creative and noble work, from students and doctoral students to outstanding scholars. We gathered them to express our gratitude and pride in the individuals who contribute to the development of both national and global science," noted Irina Grytsay, the Deputy Chief of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration during the awards ceremony.

Galina Ivanova, a teacher and the Chair of the Council of Young Scientists at Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University, has been involved in scientific activities since her school years. While she initially had a strong interest in biology, she developed a passion for physics and mathematical sciences during her higher education.

She conducts research related to information and communication technologies for educators. Her research work focuses on the development and application of online platforms and applications that can be used in distance learning. Despite the ongoing war, young scientists have remained active and committed. They have not left their universities and continue to develop and make achievements. Thus, the recognition is a token of appreciation for their dedication.

During the awards ceremony, a special publication dedicated to the young scientists of Dnipropetrovsk region was also presented.

In a previous update, we mentioned that a student from Vinnytsia region became a world champion in martial arts among athletes with musculoskeletal disabilities.
