The head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deyneko, presented 21 state awards to border guards. This information was announced on the Facebook page of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Four border guards were awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree. One officer received the Order of Daniil Galitsky. Three defenders were honored with the "For Military Service to Ukraine" medal.

Additionally, the head of the border agency awarded one medal of the III degree "For Impeccable Service" and eleven medals "Defender of the Homeland" to brave border guards. One female border guard received the "For Saving Lives" medal.

Among the recipients were border guards Yevhen Konovka, Mykita Zhurian, and Andriy Vladychenko, who had returned from Russian captivity. They had been defending Zmiinyi Island and were taken captive there. These military personnel were released on November 24, 2022, as part of a prisoner exchange.

Furthermore, the State Security Service of Ukraine had announced suspicion of a woman from Odessa for supporting the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Following the start of full-scale invasion, the woman actively called for support of the occupiers on social media and justified their war crimes.
