The Odessa region continues to assist Kherson, which has been affected by the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station by Russian occupiers. A joint group of rescuers and police officers from Odessa has been sent to the Kherson region. They are rescuing people and animals from flooded areas in the Kherson region. Priority assistance is being provided to the elderly, families with children, and disabled individuals. The "Rescue Diving Service" workers and Odessa volunteers have also joined in the rescue efforts. This information was reported by the Odessa Regional Military Administration.

In addition, all regions of the Odessa region are assisting in providing bottled drinking water to the residents of Kherson. Moreover, a humanitarian cargo, including easily prepared food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and more, has been sent to the Kherson region.

To aid in overcoming the consequences of the terrorist act at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station in Kherson, inflatable boats, motors, and boats have been dispatched. A specialized brigade equipped with motor pumps and water pumps for water removal will also assist the people of Kherson.

Residents of Odessa are helping both people and animals affected by the act of terror. They were among the first to provide assistance. Employees of the municipal enterprise "Municipal Center for Environmental Safety," as well as the NGOs "Law of Nature" and "Animal SOS Odessa," conducted the evacuation of stray animals from Kherson to Odessa due to flooding. They managed to save more than sixty animals, most of which have already found new owners in Odessa.

It's worth mentioning that in Dnipropetrovsk region, a massive fish die-off began due to the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station.
