All residents of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi who suffered as a result of the overnight attack by the Russian Federation received medical assistance. Additionally, those whose homes were destroyed due to the attacks were offered resettlement and provided with hot meals. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration (ORSA), assured in a Facebook post that no one would be left without a roof over their head.
According to the regional leader, once the debris is cleared and necessary assessments are conducted, homes that can be restored will be repaired. If it's not possible to rebuild the residences, affected families will receive new housing or compensation.
On June 10th, Oleg Kiper held a meeting to discuss the aftermath of the drone and cruise missile strikes on Odessa and the Odessa region. During the meeting, special attention was given to the accommodation of the affected individuals and their social support.
Furthermore, they discussed the state of environmental safety in the Odessa region after the dam at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station was blown up by Russian occupiers. It was noted that pollution was spreading along the coast of the Odessa region. The military is addressing issues related to mine safety, municipal services are engaged in waste collection, environmental experts are monitoring the water quality in the sea, and veterinarians are ensuring the state of epizootic safety. Overall, the situation in the region remains under control.
As a reminder, earlier, an explosive device brought there after the dam was blown up at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station was destroyed on the Odessa coast. In light of this, local authorities are asking residents of the Odessa region and guests to refrain from walking on the beaches or coastal areas.
