In Kropyvnytskyi volunteers on bicycles deliver food and medicine to less mobile population groups and hygiene products

In the city of Kropyvnytskyi, bicycles are not just used as a means of transportation. For members of the organization "Mobile Volunteer Group," they have become reliable helpers, or you could say, a means of communication. It's on bicycles that the organization's volunteers deliver food, medicine, personal hygiene items, and more to members of vulnerable populations. Thanks to bicycles, they can do this economically, ecologically, and safely on a citywide scale in Kropyvnytskyi. Additionally, bicycles help internally displaced persons integrate into communities. They also aid in the transition to civilian life for veterans and veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Facilitator of self-help groups, Serhiy Noha, notes that cycling provides essential cardio exercise, strengthening the heart muscle and improving vascular tone. Cycling also helps combat stress and offers distraction from persistent thoughts.

Volunteers express sincere gratitude for the bicycles provided by "Lisove Hospodarstvo Lis" LLC from Slovenia and the "FORZA" public organization, co-initiators of the #BikesForUkraine campaign.

Previously, we reported that in the city of Oleksandriya in the Kirovohrad region, up to three hundred people from the Kherson region, who were affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by Russian occupiers, are ready to be accommodated. Local representatives of the public organization "Zoodopomoha" have also promised to take care of the animals from the flood-affected area.
