Residents of the community in Kirovohrad Oblast collected humanitarian aid for residents of Kherson Oblast

Another shipment of humanitarian aid collected by the residents of Kirovohrad Region has been sent to the Kherson region. This time, the collection took place in Novoukrainskyi District. They gathered water, food, clothing, and household chemicals which were donated to the people in the Kalynivska community in the Berislav District of the Kherson region. This assistance was provided through joint efforts, including contributions from local territorial communities, enterprises, and the regional military administration personnel who donated their one-day salary for humanitarian needs.

Together, they were able to deliver 6,500 liters of bottled water, 1,000 kilograms of cereals, 500 kilograms of pasta, 100 liters of cooking oil, 100 kilograms of sugar, 250 liters of canned goods, 10 bags of bed linen and clothing, and 300 kilograms of household chemicals.

Previously, from the Vinnytsia region, another shipment of communal vehicles and workers was sent to assist the people in the Kherson region in dealing with the aftermath of the terrorist actions by Russian occupiers. This aid includes two tractors with brushes, a tractor with a power take-off shaft, a wood chipper, a watering machine, and a school bus for transporting people. In Odessa, efforts are ongoing to clean up the contamination of the coastal zone caused by the explosion at the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Station by Russian occupiers.

It's important to note that visiting beaches and participating in self-directed clean-up efforts can be dangerous, and residents are discouraged from doing so.
