The state allocated a record subvention for the purchase of housing for veterans

This year, the Vinnytsia region has received a record amount of funding from the government for the purchase of housing for veterans. The allocated funds are intended to provide housing for 63 individuals. The commission meeting to distribute subsidies from the state budget to local budgets for compensation for housing took place on June 16.

As explained by Natalia Zabolotna, the First Deputy Chief of the Regional State Administration, the eligible categories of people include war-disabled individuals, family members of fallen heroes, combatants among veterans of the war in the east, and individuals with disabilities who participated in combat actions.

"This year, our region has received record funding, an amount that is 6% more than the total for 2016-2021. Almost 124 million hryvnias! Thanks to this, we can cover the housing costs for 63 individuals," noted the official.

In addition, it was promised in the Odessa region to provide housing or monetary compensation to those affected by the night attack by Russian occupiers. According to the regional leader, once the debris is cleared and necessary assessments are conducted, damaged housing that can be restored will be repaired. If restoration is not possible, the affected families will receive new housing or compensation.
