An accident between a passenger bus and a truck occurred in Vinnytsia: 15 people injured

On June 27th, around 10:00 in Vinnytsia, near the intersection of Nemirovskoe Highway and Independence Street, a road traffic accident involving a suburban bus "Bogdan" and a GAZ car occurred. This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region.

As a result of the accident, 15 people sustained various degrees of physical injuries.

According to law enforcement information, the 67-year-old driver of the "Bogdan" bus collided with a GAZ car that was located near the right edge of the road.

Fourteen passengers sought medical assistance. The 64-year-old driver of the GAZ car also sustained physical injuries.

Blood samples were taken from the drivers for toxicological analysis. Investigative actions are ongoing.

It's worth noting that in Dnipro, a military serviceman opened fire at the window of a children's home where a caregiver and children were present. The woman shielded the children, and the man attempted to climb through the window. In court, the accused claimed that he couldn't find a welding machine and a screwdriver he had purchased, believing they were stolen. Due to his confusion, he regretted the theft and went to the potential thief's house, but ended up in the wrong place. The military serviceman entered the children's home premises and, thinking the caregiver was the thief's mother, began shouting at her. Out of anger, he started firing his firearm, believing he was aiming upward, but he hit the window instead.
