Due to rain, wind, and storms for the third consecutive day, there have been power line wire breaks in the Kirovohrad region. As of 11 o'clock, 10,566 subscribers are without electricity. Spokeswoman for "Kirovohradoblenergo," Olena Danylchenko, reported this.
According to the spokeswoman, 195 subscribers in the Svitlovodsk community have been without electricity for the second day. The most significant damage has been in the Oleksandriia, Svitlovodsk, Onufriivska, Znamianska, and Kropyvnytskyi communities.
"Brigades have been working since the night, trying to restore electricity as quickly as possible. The situation is changing by the minute," the announcement stated.
Currently, rescuers in the Kirovohrad region are helping to mitigate the consequences of the storm. Kirovohrad rescuers provided such assistance three times: on Hranitna Street in Vilshanka, near the village of Dolynivka in the Haivoron community, and in Mykhailivka in the Dobrovelichkivska community. Kropyvnytskyi rescuers removed a fallen tree from a car on Kropyvnytskyi Street in the regional center. Additionally, emergency workers in Novomyrhorod removed a fallen tree on Horkoho Street, Novomyrhorod, Novoukrainskyi district. A similar service was provided by Znamianka fire and rescue unit on School, Nova, Nechaieva, and Tsentralna streets in Dmytrivka in the Dmytrivska community of Kropyvnytskyi district.
It's worth noting that a storm in the Odesa region on July 7 caused damage to a bridge and power outages in dozens of populated areas.
