On June 1st, in Kropyvnytskyi, the names of the winners of the city's "Child of the Year 2023" competition were announced. The most talented and successful young residents of Kropyvnytskyi were honored on International Children's Day.

This year, the winners were recognized in six categories. A separate award, the "For Personal Courage" diploma, was given to Danilo Serhiyev, a student at the Natural Sciences Lyceum. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, while in Mariupol, he helped adults extinguish fires in buildings where people lived.

Additionally, he prepared food over open fires and provided meals to elderly people left without support. Furthermore, together with adults, Danilo assisted in evacuating elderly and sick individuals who couldn't move independently.

All the nominees and winners of the competition were congratulated by Alexander Mosin, the Deputy Mayor. Throughout the day, children enjoyed a concert and entertainment program, and various activities and workshops were available. Everyone who attended the celebration was treated to sweets.

It was previously reported that after a one-year break, "Odesa Film Studio" resumed charitable film screenings, and on May 31st, they showed "Spring on Zarychna Street" to the audience. The organizers announced that this year, viewers will have the opportunity to see even more beloved films.
