In the Odessa region, regulations on the movement of cargo transport have been implemented since July 10. In order to preserve the road surface during periods of high temperatures, the movement of cargo trucks will be prohibited from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
This restriction applies to the M-15 Odessa-Reni, M-05 Kyiv-Odessa, and M-14 Odessa-Melitopol highways for heavy vehicles with a weight exceeding 24 tons and a load per axle of 7 tons. Truck movement will be allowed from 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM.
Companies that transport grain, oil, fuel, and other cargoes must contact the Odessa Regional Military Administration to obtain special permits for transporting goods during the curfew. This can be done by calling (048) 718 93 87 or (048) 718 95 20. The Odessa Regional Military Administration has received 105 applications for 1,202 vehicles, of which 78 have already been processed, and 1,003 permits have been issued.
To ensure that drivers comply with these restrictions, eight National Police crews will monitor the roads in the Odessa region. These restrictions do not apply to specialized vehicles, transportation of dangerous, perishable goods, live animals or birds, humanitarian aid, people, and military cargo. Additionally, the restrictions do not apply to goods related to preventing and eliminating the consequences of emergencies, dual-use goods, and defense-related equipment.
It's worth noting that the Odessa region was recently attacked by enemy drones during the night. Most of these drones were intercepted by air defense systems. However, as a result of the falling debris, a fire broke out in a grain terminal at one of the ports, but it was quickly extinguished.
