In Poltava region, 15 generators were handed over for the needs of the Ukrainian Naval Forces' Marine Infantry. This was reported on the website of the Poltava Regional Military Administration.
Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, emphasized that supporting the defenders is an unconditional priority. This time, fifteen generators were sent to the Marine Infantry of the Ukrainian Naval Forces. Eleven 3 kW generators were provided through cooperation with the Regional Office of International Cooperation, with the support of international partners. Additionally, four 5.5 kW generators were purchased for over 84,000 hryvnias from the regional budget.
"The support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is crucial. Thanks to everyone who contributes to our joint victory," stated Dmytro Lunin.
It is worth noting that for the first time this year, a military lyceum with enhanced military-physical training is being established in Poltava. They plan to enroll 90 cadets in the current academic year. The students will study in classrooms equipped with modern equipment. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the institution plans to invite students to the 9th and 10th grades. And in the third stage, the lyceum aims to reach its full capacity with 450 cadets.
Earlier, in Vinnytsia region, two vehicles and 25 pairs of active headphones were handed over to the Ukrainian Defense Forces to be used by the military in fulfilling their tasks.
