Poltava region buys SKOT R3M armored personnel carriers for 116th Poltava Regional Military District

116th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of Poltava will be receiving the SKOT R3M Amphibious Armored Personnel Carrier. The announcement was made by the head of the Poltava Regional Council, Oleksandr Bilenkyi.

The SKOT R3M is an amphibious armored personnel carrier that was purchased from Poland. It has a capacity to accommodate up to 12 paratroopers, including the driver and the commander. The vehicle can also be used for evacuating wounded personnel and performing combat missions.

In addition to its military capabilities, the SKOT R3M is equipped with pumping systems in case water enters the vehicle's interior. It also has a centralized tire inflation system.

On another note, the Cherkasy Administrative Services Center has opened a patriotic exhibition on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day. The exhibition features illustrations and drawings created by children, students, and military personnel. It includes works by Lieutenant Volodymyr Mukan, a journalist, editor, and founder of a YouTube channel, who tragically lost his life near Bakhmut earlier this year. The exhibition, titled "Shadows of War," comprises over 20 photographs taken by the late journalist, reflecting his feelings and experiences during the wartime events.
