Dnipro athletes win gold and bronze medals at the World Shooting Championships

Sportsmen from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast won various medals at the Junior World Championship in shooting, which took place in South Korea. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk.

Roman Chadai, a student of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast School of Higher Sportsmanship, secured a gold medal in shooting among junior athletes. He took first place in the moving target exercise.

In addition, Alina Tkalyk, a student of the Krivyi Rih Children and Youth School, won a bronze medal. The winners were coached by Oleksiy Vilyvanyi.

Recalling that in Poltava, a modular settlement for internally displaced persons was opened. The construction of the modular settlement was implemented by the Foundation for International Solidarity of Poland with financial support from the Government of Great Britain. The total number of modules is 240, where up to 300 people can be accommodated. Currently, about a hundred displaced persons from Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts already reside here.
