On Dnipropetrovsk reported the suspicion to two prosecutors who tried prosecute the innocent

In Dnipropetrovsk, two prosecutors have been informed of suspicion in creating fabricated evidence of accusation and bringing an innocent citizen to criminal responsibility. The suspects include one of the deputy heads of the Slobizhanska District Prosecutor's Office and one of the prosecutors from their unit. This information was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

During the pre-trial investigation related to a lawyer who incited the innocent citizen to offer unlawful benefits to the prosecutors of the mentioned unit, previously unknown details of the crime were uncovered. Investigators determined that the lawyer had organized the false accusation of an innocent person to hold them criminally responsible. To carry out this scheme, the lawyer engaged the aforementioned suspects. They fabricated false evidence of the accusations, which led to the unjust criminal charges against the innocent individual for illegal production and sale of alcoholic beverages.

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Andriy Kostin, emphasized that corrupt individuals have no place in the prosecutor's office. He also added that the suspicions against the Dnipropetrovsk prosecutors serve as a warning to those who hope to avoid detection. Any case of corruption will be exposed, he assured.

Earlier, in Cherkasy, a doctor was sentenced for collecting information about the location of the PPO units for the enemy.
