A meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Poltava Regional Council on Law Enforcement, Anti-Corruption Measures, and the Provision of Rights and Needs of the Military and Participants of Military Operations took place. During the session, the regional council deputies heard a report on the implementation of the Comprehensive Program for Ensuring Legality, Law and Order, Protection of Rights, Freedoms, and Lawful Interests of Citizens, as well as Defense Activities for the years 2021-2027. The report included information that during the first half of the year, 49 million hryvnias were allocated for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and nearly 92 million hryvnias were allocated to support the law enforcement agencies in the region. This information was reported on the website of the Poltava Regional State Administration.

According to Alexander Chaliy, the Director of the Department for Defense, Civil Protection, and Interaction with Law Enforcement Agencies of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, they purchased drones, thermal imagers, medical equipment, communication devices, technical equipment, and sleeping bags for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the allocated 49 million hryvnias.

Additionally, during the same period, nearly 92 million hryvnias from the regional budget were directed to meet the needs of the law enforcement agencies in Poltava region. These funds were used to improve the material and technical base of the units of the National Police, Security Service of Ukraine, State Bureau of Investigations, Poltava Regional Emergency and Disaster Management Center, and others. The financial assistance included financing the procurement of fuel and lubricants, vehicles, and digital communication management systems.

Furthermore, Maxim Kalinin, the Deputy Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, informed that financial aid of over 6 million hryvnias was provided from the military region's material reserve.
