A center with 15 modular mini-farms will be created in Vinnytsia

The Institute of Feeds and Agriculture of Podillya, part of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS), is working on establishing a center that will bring together more than 15 modular mini-farms for the cultivation of agricultural animals and poultry, as well as plants in enclosed soil. Additionally, this center will incorporate elements of an excursion and tourist destination.

This information was reported by the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

"The main goal of the center will be to provide an opportunity for all interested parties to receive qualified assistance in the development of promising and niche sectors of agriculture," the statement said.

The director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development, Oleg Sidorov, along with experts from the department, visited the area where the center's development has begun. The center will unite more than 15 modular mini-farms for the cultivation of agricultural animals and poultry, as well as plants in enclosed soil. It will also include elements of an excursion and tourist direction.

"Agricultural production today requires diversification. The main goal of our center will be to provide an opportunity for all interested parties to receive qualified assistance in the development of promising and niche sectors of agriculture. This will be needed by our veterans who require socialization and support after the end of the war," said Alexander Korniychuk, the director of the Institute of Feeds and Agriculture of Podillya NAAS.

It's worth noting that in Dnipropetrovsk region, meteorologists are predicting hot and dry weather, which could lead to the formation of locust swarms in fields and meadows.
