Czech partners are planning to implement a pilot project to restore schools damaged by shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, the Czech humanitarian organization "Man in Need" is preparing to implement a project for the restoration of schools. This was discussed during a meeting at the regional military administration. The project focuses on educational institutions that have been affected during the war.

"This project is relevant for our region because we plan to introduce a blended or offline form of education. A requirement for this is the presence of shelters in educational institutions. We have a subsidy from the state to equip them. However, to cover all the needs, we cannot do without the assistance of partners," noted Irina Grytsay, Deputy Chief of the Regional State Administration.

Assistance is planned for the restoration of four educational institutions, with a priority for schools affected by the war. Funds can be directed toward window replacement, repairs, furniture purchase, and the establishment of shelters.

In communities where educational institutions cannot be fully restored for in-person learning, educational centers may be established. These centers will have the necessary equipment for conducting lessons.

It's worth noting that Poltava is among the leaders in implementing digitalization in the regions. The region is actively incorporating new technologies into education, healthcare, social services, and is working on electronic document flow. This was discussed during a meeting with the coordinator of UNICEF projects, Bahadir Ragimov.
