In Kropyvnytskyi a space for emotional relief has been opened

In the regional center of Kirovohrad region, a space for emotional relief was opened, initiated by students of Kropyvnytskyi Professional Lyceum of Services and Trade as part of the UPSHIFT project with the support of the UNICEF. Details were provided by the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration.

"If we raise conscious, intelligent, and understanding individuals among the youth, there will be no domestic violence in the future! We are on the threshold of an initiative that will serve as an example of how to achieve a new, qualitative slice of society," noted Katerina Koltunova, the deputy chief of the Kirovohrad OVA, during the opening.

The space for emotional relief is a cozy corner for everyone who needs psychological assistance or simply seeks peace, tranquility, and rejuvenation of strength, or seeks support in private conversations.

It is a space for those who have experienced or are still suffering from domestic violence, as well as a place where all interested individuals can learn tolerance and proper interaction with each other. The main target audience is the youth, who will participate in the workshops conducted by professional psychologists since they have already acquired a sufficient level of knowledge in this area.
