August 1. Results of the day

During the five hundred and twenty-fourth day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against our country, the following main events have taken place:

The enemy conducted 1 missile strike, 49 airstrikes, and 33 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties among the civilian population.

The likelihood of missile and airstrikes across Ukraine remains high.

There were 26 military confrontations during the day.

Residents of Dnipropetrovsk region are receiving financial assistance for repairing homes damaged due to the conflict through the "eRestoration" program. Compensation of up to 200,000 hryvnias is provided for building materials and contractor services. In total, residents of the region have received nearly 12.5 million hryvnias.

Fuel prices in Ukraine are expected to rise to up to 60 hryvnias per liter in the fall due to increasing global oil prices and reduced production.

Two corrupt individuals who obstructed mobilization efforts in Cherkasy region have been sentenced. They were found guilty of disseminating information aimed at evading mobilization during the state of war.

A Ukrainian serviceman, Artem Tantsyura, who was held in captivity, has returned home to Novoukrainka. He was released along with 95 other Ukrainian defenders who were held in Russian captivity.

Heavy enemy artillery shelling was reported in Nikopol today, but there were no casualties or injuries. Assessments of the extent of the damage are currently underway.

In other cities and regions of Dnipropetrovsk region, there have been no reported shelling incidents today.
