In Poltava will host a SpringRun race: everyone is welcome

Regular sports competitions are held in Poltava region for the active population. Soon, the city of Poltava plans to host a sports race called 'SpringRun.' The event is free to participate in and is organized by the regional center for physical health 'Sport for All' and the Poltava branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The announcement about the race is posted on the Poltava Regional Military Administration's website.

During the sports event, there are planned runs for children covering a distance of 500 meters and for adults with distances of 1, 3, and 5 kilometers. The runners will start from 'Peremoha' Park. After completing the race, every finisher will receive a certificate and a medal from the organizers.

Previously, we reported that athletes from the Odessa region returned with awards from national and international competitions. In particular, the handball team 'Izmail' became the champion of the Higher League of Ukraine among men. In the final round of the championship, which took place in Brovary, the Odessa handball players won three times and claimed the championship cup.

And athletes from the Dnipropetrovsk region won 67 medals at the Ukrainian championship in hand-to-hand combat. The competition featured young men, juniors, and girls from the Dnipropetrovsk region, who won 17 gold, 20 silver, and 30 bronze medals.
