Today, Russian occupiers conducted artillery shelling of the Nikopol community for 24 hours and also launched a drone attack in the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there is damage to residential and industrial properties. This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In Nikopol, the shelling damaged one of the industrial enterprises, two residential buildings, and several outbuildings. A gas pipeline was also ruptured. In the Marganets community, explosions damaged a car and a private house.
Earlier, it was reported that residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region can benefit from the state program "eRecovery." Under this program, residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region affected by the conflict can receive financial assistance for repairing housing that has been damaged due to hostilities. The program primarily covers homes with minor damage that can be quickly repaired, including the replacement of doors, windows, roof structures, etc. Priority will be given to the most vulnerable categories of residents, including families of deceased servicemen, large families, people with disabilities, orphaned children, and foster parents.
On May 9th, during the shelling in Dnipropetrovsk region, fragments from a downed rocket fell on a residential four-story building. As a result, a 32-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized. The building's roof and several apartments were damaged. On the third floor of the building, a rocket warhead was found, which led to the evacuation of several dozen residents. The rocket fragments were removed by explosive ordnance disposal experts.
