In Vinnytsia region, soldiers from the combat brigade of the "South" Operational Command received special transport that they will be able to use for carrying out combat missions. The fighters were provided with a specialized ambulance vehicle, a Volvo, and a Volkswagen van. This information was reported by the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

"Thank you to our Scottish partners and Vinnytsia volunteers Andrii and Tetiana Kharlanov for their continuous assistance and support," said Serhii Borzov, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, during the handover of the vehicles.

It's worth noting that on the night of May 16, in Cherkasy region, the PPO (anti-aircraft missile troops) forces downed a drone. This information was announced by Igor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration. There were no casualties or injuries, as stated by the head of the Military Administration.

Previously, we reported that a military representative from Vinnytsia won first place in the Unconquered Games. Mykola Rudik, a serviceman from Vinnytsia, participated in the qualifying competitions for the Ukrainian national team in the Unconquered Games. He claimed the first place in the 1500-meter race, completing the distance in 4 minutes and 50 seconds. This year, participants competed in 9 sports: table tennis, athletics (running, long jump, and shot put), powerlifting, rowing on simulators, archery, cycling, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and sitting volleyball.

We also reported on an event in Cherkasy where an initiative called "Brave from Smila" was held. Representatives from cultural, educational, business, religious organizations, craftsmen, and craftswomen of traditional folk art, among others, showcased their handmade products at the event. The exhibition included handcrafted buses, bracelets, earrings, dolls, soap, soft toys, embroidered and painted artwork, salty and sweet treats, clay products, decorative pillows, home decorations, face painting, and much more. All proceeds from this event will be directed to support the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade to strengthen them for victorious battles.
