The Kremenchuk Defense Volunteer Headquarters has delivered another round of aid to the Poltava Regional Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky. They provided antibiotics, saline solutions, surgical instruments, consumables for operations, gloves, and gowns for the medical staff. Additionally, 12 sets of neodymium magnets called "Edelweiss" were handed over. These magnets are used in medicine to extract small fragments and even bullets. This information was provided by the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

- Since the invasion began, our volunteer headquarters has been producing magnets used in the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, the Institute of Cardiology, and frontline stabilization hospitals. The kits consist of a case with a neodymium magnet and attachments of various power. They can be used for both diagnosing and locating foreign objects within the body and removing them through the wound channel, - explained Oleg Bykov, the head of the Kremenchuk Defense Volunteer Headquarters.

These magnets were collectively produced by enterprises in Poltava, Kharkiv, and Lviv regions. As the manufacturers continuously improve their products, the Poltava Regional Hospital received a fourth-generation device.

Grigory Oksak, the Chief Doctor of the Poltava Regional Hospital, noted that the magnets would be used in all surgical departments.

Earlier, we reported that in Vinnytsia, a special transport vehicle was handed over to the fighters of the South Operational Brigade. They received a specialized rapid response vehicle, a Volvo, and a Volkswagen minibus.

We also shared that in a city in Cherkasy region, an event called "Brave from Smila" was held. On the streets, representatives from cultural and educational institutions, businesses, religious organizations, master craftsmen, and folk artists presented their exhibitions.
