Vinnytsia athletes continue to reach new heights in competitions. Serhiy Kolesnyk and Tetiana Vitvitska became the champion and silver medalist, respectively, at the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship. Serhiy Kolesnyk set three Ukrainian records: 169 kilograms in the snatch, 172 kilograms in the clean and jerk, and 304 kilograms in the total. Tetiana Vitvitska won three silver medals at the championship and achieved the Master of Sport of Ukraine standard. They are coached by Petro Nagurnyi.

These achievements were reported by the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

"These are our promising athletes in whom coach Kostyantyn Sotskov believed, and the region supports them!" said Serhiy Borzov, the head of the regional administration. The region's leader congratulated the athletes and their coaches and wished them success on the world stage.

In a previous update, we mentioned that a locksmith from the Odessa Dockyard Factory won the Ukrainian Ship Model Sports Championship. The man received the gold medal in the "C" section, which involves large-scale model ships, precise technical constructions, and ship details. Valeriy Kharet is a member of the Federation of Ship Modeling and Ship Model Sports in Ukraine. He holds the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine and has been a multiple medalist at the World, European, and Ukrainian Championships in ship model sports. The championship took place in Kyiv from May 3 to May 5, 2023, with the participation of teams from various Ukrainian regions.

Earlier, we reported that a day of hippotherapy and psychological relaxation was organized for children displaced from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions in Vinnytsia. The social project involved 40 displaced children.
