During the night, the Russian army launched a mass attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, using missiles and drones. The city of Dnipro was heavily affected by the attacks. Private residences and several private businesses caught fire after the strikes, but the firefighters managed to extinguish the fires promptly. The attacks also damaged a fuel station, a transport enterprise, two buildings, and a car. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast reported these incidents.

An employee was injured at the fuel station due to the attacks, and they received necessary medical assistance. Within a day, Russian occupiers also targeted the Marganetska community in Nikopol Raion. Fortunately, a UAV attack caused no casualties.

It was reported by the PvoK "Skhid" that during the night, ten cruise missiles and enemy drones were downed over Dnipropetrovshchyna.

Previously, in Vinnytsia, a memorial event was held to honor the memory of the special unit officers from the KORD division who lost their lives due to a Russian missile strike. The memorial event took place at the Sabarivsky Cemetery, where the deceased law enforcement officers were laid to rest. On the night of May 21-22, 2022, Russia carried out a devastating missile strike on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in the loss of 23 officers from the Special Operations Regiment "Safari" of the National Police of Ukraine, hailing from various regions of Ukraine. Among them were nine residents of Vinnytsia: Police Colonel Mykhailo Zaitsev, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ihor Podzygun, Police Majors Dmytro Klymenko and Bohdan Shcherban, Police Captains Vitaliy Antoshchuk, Bohdan Buleha, and Vitaliy Oliinyk, as well as Police Senior Lieutenants Ihor Bondarchuk and Artur Turliak.

In a separate case, it was reported that a resident of Odessa Oblast was sentenced to 15 years in prison for providing information to Russia that led to missile attacks on the region.
