In Cherkasy, graduates of local schools organized a "March of Gratitude" for Ukraine's defenders. According to the head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Igor Taburets, this year's graduates have faced various challenges in their school life, including quarantines, substitutions, and sadly, the ongoing war. Despite these difficulties, they have persevered, and Taburets expressed his gratitude to parents, teachers, and mentors for instilling the right values in the children. He emphasized that the future of Cherkasy, Cherkasy Region, and all of Ukraine lies in the hands of the youth, this year's graduates, as the victories achieved by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are for the benefit of future generations.
In addition to this, Ukrainian gymnast Ilya Kovtun had a successful start at the World Challenge Cup in Croatia, earning a gold and a bronze medal in the finals. He was congratulated on his excellent performance by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Igor Taburets, the head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, also mentioned that the region is prepared to welcome residents of Kherson Region affected by the explosion at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station. Cherkasy Region can accommodate up to three thousand people in compact living arrangements, and transportation can be provided to bring people from Kherson if needed.
