IN A 72-year-old woman drowned in a reservoir in Mohyliv-Podilskyi District, Vinnytsia Region

A person without signs of life was found in the village of Rusava within the Yampil territorial community, in a local water reservoir. Five personnel from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) arrived at the scene in response to a call for assistance. With the help of special equipment, the rescuers retrieved the body from the water. This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia Oblast.

It was determined that the deceased woman was 72 years old. The police will investigate the causes and circumstances of her death.

In a previous incident in Vinnytsia Oblast, a road traffic accident occurred, involving two cars and resulting in injuries to three people. During the collision between a "VAZ" and a "Volkswagen" passenger vehicle, both drivers and a passenger in one of the cars were injured. The police investigation revealed that the 39-year-old driver of the "VAZ" did not yield the right of way while making a left turn, leading to the collision with the "Volkswagen," driven by a 29-year-old man. Both drivers and the 33-year-old passenger of the "Volkswagen" were subsequently hospitalized.

Additionally, in Vinnytsia Oblast, the driver of an "Opel Omega" passenger car attempted to bribe the police officers to avoid punishment for driving under the influence of alcohol. The man offered law enforcement officers 5,000 hryvnias to try to reach an agreement. He now faces imprisonment for a term of up to four years.
