In Kirovohradska the region lacks workers

Katerina Koltunova, Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, chaired a meeting where they discussed the region's need for labor force. Representatives from the departments of the regional state administration, the Kirovohrad Regional Employment Center, and the Kropyvnytskyi City Council participated in the meeting. The main topic of discussion was the quantitative indicators - how many workers and specialists in construction professions are needed for organizations and enterprises in the Kirovohrad region.

Elsa Leshchenko, the Director of the Regional Department of Education and Science, explained how many skilled workers and construction workers can be trained in vocational, professional, and higher education institutions.

The participants of the meeting also planned to organize a meeting between employers and educational institutions in the Kirovohrad region in the first half of September.

Earlier, we reported that a culinary hub was opened in Poltava, where future "change agents" are being prepared to implement a new food system in educational institutions. In Horishni Plavni, Poltava region, specialists in various trades are being trained.

In Odessa, a modern practical center was opened for locksmith work training. The center will prepare young specialists who will participate in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts after the victory. They will also provide vocational training and retraining for those who had to leave the territories under occupation, including military personnel who cannot perform certain types of work due to health conditions and professionals who lost their jobs for various reasons.
