With the onset of the full-scale invasion, 41 enterprises from various regions of Ukraine have been relocated to Cherkasy Oblast. Importantly, Cherkasy still has over 700,000 square meters of available space for entrepreneurs. The region is ready to receive and accommodate new manufacturing facilities, providing full support to these enterprises. This information was conveyed by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Igor Taburets.

In Cherkasy Oblast, successful cooperation has been established among entrepreneurs, business communities, and local communities. The region is also learning from the experiences of other regions in Ukraine. For example, Igor Taburets visited Kyiv Oblast, where he met with the Patchwork company. This enterprise is developing its production capacities on the site of a former plant, forming a private industrial park with ready-to-use locations for business operations and prepared utilities.

Such parks serve as powerful tools in attracting new industries. When communicating with investors, they often inquire about the availability of prepared territories for their operations," mentioned Igor Taburets.

We previously mentioned that Cherkasy Oblast has joined the project to reconstruct the de-occupied settlements in Kherson Oblast. Cherkasy Oblast will be responsible for the restoration of the settlement of Novopetrivka in Kherson Oblast.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Economy had stated earlier that Ukraine will soon face a shortage of the workforce. According to the Ministry's estimation, within the next ten years, Ukraine will need to attract an additional 4.5 million workers to the labor market. This indicates the importance of addressing the labor force issue for the country's development and economic growth.
