Pyrotechnics from Dnipropetrovs'k region conducted demining of Dovhenke village in Kharkiv region

In the areas of Kharkiv region that have been de-occupied, rescuers from different regions of Ukraine continue demining operations. Currently, sappers are working on clearing explosive hazards from vital infrastructure such as gas pipelines, water pipelines, and power transmission lines. Local residents also inform rescuers about the discovery of explosive devices in buildings that were damaged by Russian shelling.

On July 27, demining operations were conducted in the village of Dovhenke in Izium district by pyrotechnics from Dnipropetrovsk region, who are part of the unified unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU). They received several reports from the residents and inspected around ten private houses, yards, and summer cottages.

The process of demining is challenging and dangerous, as the rescuers have to work in dense vegetation and debris from the destroyed buildings.

However, as a result of their arduous work, they managed to clear a dozen buildings of explosive hazards in the village, allowing the residents to return and begin the process of reconstruction.

Earlier, it was reported that pyrotechnics from Odessa region were also conducting demining operations in the de-occupied areas of Donetsk region.

Additionally, it was mentioned that Kirovohrad region is planning to create additional pyrotechnic units to support demining efforts across Ukraine and intends to recruit 47 specialists for this purpose.
