In Vinnytsia region, during the wind toppled 216 trees

For two consecutive days, there was severe weather in the Vinnytsia region. During one day, rescuers responded to 36 calls to eliminate the consequences of wind and rain. In particular, in the Zhmerynka, Mohyliv-Podilsky, Haisyn, and Tulchyn districts, rescuers removed 216 trees that had fallen due to the wind. This information was provided by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region.

In the Haisyn district, 35 cubic meters of water were pumped out from the basement of a private residential building. Rescuers also cleared the roads 20 times in this district, removing tree trunks and branches from the roadway.

In the Zhmerinka district, six private houses had their roofs damaged, and temporary covering was arranged by the State Emergency Service.

There were no casualties due to the weather, but rescuers remind residents of the region to stay at home and follow safety rules during severe weather whenever possible.

Previously, in the Kirovohrad region, over 10,000 subscribers were left without electricity due to the bad weather. The most significant damage occurred in the communities of Oleksandriia, Svitlovodsk, Onufriyivka, Znamianka, and Kropyvnytskyi.

In addition, in the Odessa region, due to strong winds and heavy rainfall, a bridge was damaged, and 41 populated areas were left without electricity. It was reported that the excessive rainfall led to the destruction of a transitional plate on the bridge along the M-14 Odessa-Melitopol-Novoozernoe highway near the village of Ivanove.
