In Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region, the enemy used heavy artillery to hit a sports school and residential houses

Today, Russian occupiers conducted four attacks on Nikopol region, using heavy artillery. As a result of the strikes, civilian infrastructure was damaged, and a fire broke out, which was promptly extinguished by rescuers. The regional state administration in Dnipropetrovsk reported this, citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

From the incoming fire, a garage caught fire, which rescuers managed to extinguish, but the building was destroyed. Additionally, the enemy targeted a sports boarding school and a service station in the city. The explosions of the projectiles damaged seven private houses, several gas pipelines, and power transmission lines, as well as some other structures.

Yesterday, during the shelling of Nikopol, two people were injured, a 35-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman.

Earlier, we reported that pyrotechnic experts from Odesa region continue to clear territories liberated from the occupiers in Donetsk and Kherson regions of mines and other explosive objects.

During the shelling of Odesa region, ports and grain storage facilities came under enemy attack. Significant damage was inflicted on a three-story building, "Morvokzal," as well as an elevator, grain silos, and reservoirs of one of the cargo terminals. Production, warehouse, and administrative buildings were also damaged. All affected objects were civilian. Three educational institutions, one cultural institution, 15 apartments in multi-story buildings, and dozens of private houses were also damaged.
