Day 460 of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country. Here's a brief overview of the day's main events:

During May 29, the Russian Federation launched two massed missile and air strikes on Ukraine. In the afternoon, the enemy used cruise and ballistic missiles from the Iskander operational-tactical missile complex on civilian and critical infrastructure objects in Kyiv. 11 out of 11 missiles were destroyed by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Throughout the day, the enemy carried out 53 air strikes and about 20 shelling with reactive multiple launch systems on our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population, private residential buildings and other civilian and administrative infrastructure have been damaged.

The defense aviation conducted 15 strikes on the enemy's personnel and military equipment concentration areas during the day. The missile troops and artillery units struck 3 areas of weapon and military equipment concentration, ammunition depots, 3 air defense assets, and another 3 important targets of the enemy.

President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.

According to the President's post on his social media pages, the meeting was attended by the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, and the Commander of the operational-strategic grouping of forces "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavsky.

The situation on the front line, the formation of assault brigades, and the provision of rapid logistics and new contracts for the supply of weapons were discussed at the Staff. "New contracts for the supply of additional missiles, additional air defense assets, analysis of air defense work in recent days, assessment of the damage caused," Zelensky specified.

The President added that all the points discussed at the Staff were supported by appropriate decisions.

$6,500 for crossing the border: Odessa police arrested the organizer of an illegal channel. The Odessa Regional Police Department reported that the organizer received part of the money from clients before their departure, and the rest was paid after crossing the border. Additional payments were made for the services of so-called "taxi drivers." The detainee has been charged and is in custody.

The head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius, visited Cherkasy today. Here, he consecrated a new church dedicated to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

During the meeting with the residents of Cherkasy, Epiphanius awarded the Cherkasy Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The awards of the surgeon-saint Luke were received by the military, their families (posthumously), as well as the head of the region Ihor Taburtsky, the city mayor Anatoliy Bondarenko, the head of the regional council Anatoliy Pidhornyy, deputies, and military medics.

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a criminal scheme for the illegal use of state-owned land in Cherkasy region. The abbess of the women's monastery of the Uman Eparchy of the UOC (MP) is involved in the organization of the equipment.

For 10 years, she illegally leased more than 40 hectares of agricultural land provided by the state to the nuns for their own farm to the owner of a local agricultural enterprise.

Due to the enemy's missile shelling on May 26, a number of institutions subordinate to the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Dnipro City Council were affected in Dnipro. Significant damage was sustained by the Dnipro Athletics stadium. This was reported by Dnipro City Council.

On May 29, inclusive camps for children and adults started operating at the Municipal Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children and Youth with Functional Limitations "Harmony" named after Raisa Panasiuk. This was announced by Vinnytsia City Council.

The camp program for different age groups is designed for 5 days with various interactive activities to make it interesting and comfortable for everyone.
