It's the four hundred eighty-fourth day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state. Let's briefly summarize today's main events.

During the night, the enemy launched rocket strikes on the Kryvyi Rih district, while in Nikopol, they shelled the area with heavy artillery. The residential sector was heavily damaged, with ten private houses, farm buildings, garages, and vehicles affected. Gas pipelines, water supply, and power lines were also damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Residents of Poltava and Kremenchuk reported hearing explosions, which occurred almost simultaneously with an air raid siren.

According to Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, no hostile aircraft were detected in the region.

Six additional pieces of special equipment and a team of workers from Vinnytsia Region have been sent to Kherson Region to assist in flood relief efforts.

The Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against a resident of the Poltava district. The charges include disseminating materials calling for a change in Ukraine's territorial borders, spreading symbols of the communist totalitarian regime (repeatedly), and acquiring and possessing firearms and ammunition without the required legal permits.

For the past two weeks, hundreds of Odessa municipal workers, with the use of heavy machinery, have been removing thousands of cubic meters of garbage that washed ashore near the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station.

Today, on June 22, an author's lecture titled "Petliura and Culture" took place in the courtyard of the Poltava Local History Museum named after Vasyl Krychevsky. The guest from Kyiv, Tina Peresunko, a researcher of "Shchedryk" history, talked about how the prominent Ukrainian politician and Supreme Commander of the Ukrainian National Republic (UNR), Symon Petliura, admired Ukrainian culture. He used Ukrainian songs to gain prestige for Ukraine worldwide, fought against Russian propaganda, and invested in arts, cultural diplomacy, and warfare during the war.
