28 June: results of the day

It has been 490 days of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that has passed.

Last night, Russian occupiers launched another attack using Iranian UAVs of the "Shahed" type. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to destroy six kamikaze drones. Additionally, the enemy conducted two missile strikes, 44 airstrikes, and approximately 20 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, besides the infrastructure destruction, innocent civilians suffered. The likelihood of missile and airstrikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Today, the controversial head of the Odessa Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center was dismissed.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, two collaborators were exposed, and suspicions were reported to them.

In Vinnytsia region, a woman strangled an acquaintance with a rope and hid the body in a cellar.

In Cherkasy, a former regional police officer will be tried for persecuting Maidan participants.

The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) approved a bill on additional payments to Ukrainian military personnel.

In Odesa, a man who was in custody managed to sell grenades and over a thousand rounds of ammunition.

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a high-ranking official of the Odesa Regional State Administration who embezzled over 7 million hryvnias.
