Today, during the night, Russian occupiers launched another missile and aerial attack on Ukrainian territory. They used four guided anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 air defense system and 13 Iranian drones, "Shahed-136/131," targeting military and infrastructure objects in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 10 out of the 13 "Shahed-136/131" drones.
Throughout the day, the aggressor carried out a total of 8 missile strikes and 34 aerial attacks, as well as 40 artillery shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and civilian areas. Unfortunately, there have been civilian casualties, and over 20 residential buildings and educational complexes have been damaged.
President Volodymyr Zelensky met with American businessman and philanthropist, the founder and CEO of the Wasatch Group, Dell Loy Hansen. They discussed projects aimed at helping Ukrainian citizens return to normal life. In partnership with the charitable organization "To Ukraine With Love," the Wasatch Group plans to build 600 fully furnished modular houses in Ukraine's Kyiv region between 2023-2024 for people whose homes were destroyed due to the war.
Once again, the aggressor targeted the Nikopol region overnight. This time, Nikopol was under attack, as reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The projectiles came from heavy artillery, and fortunately, there were no injuries among the population. Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage.
It's worth noting that four residents of Dnipropetrovsk region are suspected of denying Russia's armed aggression and potentially collaborating with the enemy.
On June 29, a memorial plaque was unveiled in Kropyvnytskyi in honor of Warrior-Defender Igor Buryanov, who lost his life on October 5, 2022, in Kharkiv Oblast. Igor Buryanov volunteered to join the fight during the initial days of the conflict and served as part of the brigade named after the chief hetman Ivan Sirko. Prior to the full-scale invasion, he worked in the Department of Social Welfare of the Podilskyi District Council.
The 118th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is celebrating its fifth anniversary today. In Cherkasy, they held festive events to honor these defenders, awarding them with commendations and expressing gratitude for their service.
Starting from July 1, in Kirovohrad Oblast, the curfew hours have been reduced. The curfew now lasts from 00:00 to 04:00. This change was announced by the Chief of the Kirovohrad Oblast Military Administration, Andriy Raikovych. Additionally, the operation hours for public dining establishments and mass events have been extended until 23:00.
