The national team of Ukraine with a representative of Poltava region won the bronze medal at the European triathlon

At the European Cup in triathlon held in Chisinau, the junior team of Ukraine won bronze in the mixed relay. The team included a representative from Poltava region – Georgiy Gerasmenko. The athletes from Poltava region also competed individually with the following results: Sofia Bondarenko – 7th place, Georgiy Gerasmenko – 22nd place, Yuriy Tyutyunnik – 23rd place, Vladislav Mykytenko – 30th place.

In Cherkasy, the All-Ukrainian Championship in sailing is underway, with over sixty participants from five regions of Ukraine competing. The first similar competition in Cherkasy was held 60 years ago.

Previously, we reported that two representatives from Poltava region returned with bronze medals from the World Championship held in Munich, Germany. The athletes from Poltava, Yana Prychina, and Kateryna Kovalchuk, won bronze in the team standings as part of the Ukrainian national team.

Additionally, hockey players from Vinnytsia region won silver medals at the European Championship and have earned the right to participate in the qualification for the Olympic Games. The qualification matches will take place in Pakistan and Spain.
